Now, in a series so full of clues, and so eager to hit the readers over the head with trauma, why would we not get this moment explored in detail unless this wasn’t yet the time to introduce us to Armin’s grandfather properly? We don’t know much about Armin’s grandfather, and don’t even get a proper goodbye. And where did the Beast Titan surface afterwards? That’s right: in the lands beyond Wall Rose. He was part of the expedition to reclaim Wall Maria, and disappeared in lands beyond Wall Rose.
Where did we last see Armin’s grandfather? Going off outside the walls. But one thing is clear: Armin’s grandfather is still alive, and he is the Beast Titan. The SnK world presents us with many mysteries.
